BRIAN W TANG is founding executive director of LITE Lab@HKU, HKU’s award-winning interdisciplinary and experiential programme. Brian was awarded the Faculty of Law’s 2022 Outstanding Teaching Award, and his students have won innovative technology competitions in the US and Germany.

Brian organized Hong Kong’s first lawtech hackathon (top team won New York grand finals ), and his Young Makers & Changemakers Technovation GirlsMakeTech initiative resulted in HK’s top secondary school team winning the world finals at Google.

Featured in the future of work book Future Proof, Brian is co-chair of Asia-Pacific Legal Innovation & Technology Association (ALITA) and board member of Fintech Association of Hong Kong.
